Introduction to Political Science
LA 105
This course provides students with a fundamental understanding of the political structure of the United States and the powers of the three branches of government at the federal, state, and local levels. Special emphasis is placed on the arrangements and procedures developed to effect the principle of separation of powers, to insure poular control of governments, and to formulate public policy.
